My First Post!
Well, here I am. My name is Eliane, and this blog is about one of my favorite artists: Shakira.
I’ve been a Shakira fan since she made it outside Colombia; I’m talking 1996! I bet you didn’t heard of Shakira back then, am I right? At the time, Shakira was far, far away from the English speaking music scenario; but she was begging to be famous on South America. I live in Uruguay, by the way.
“Estoy Aqui” (I’m Here) was the first Shakira’s song I’ve ever listened on the radio, from the “Pies Descalzos” (Bare feet) album. It was love at first song!
Shakira has come a long way since then, and I’ve been following her. She had ups and downs (at least in my opinion), but I’ve never stop loving her and her music.
So, that’s why I’m here: to share with you everything about Shakira. News, gossip, tours info, lyrics, photos and videos. I hope you’ll enjoy this ride as much as I’ll do!
