Shakira has spent a successful weekend in Moscow, where she supposedly cashed 3 million dollars for two private shows, booked by Russian millionaires.

Shakira charged 2 million dollars to perform her famous belly dance and 7 songs, at a Russian industrialist's wedding, informed the Russian newspaper "Komsomolskaya Pravda".

In addition, the Colombian singer performed in a private party at the "Opera" club, in the birthday party of a businessman named Maxim. As birthday present, Shakira gave him a guitar and her autograph, according to the newspaper.

For her performance at the birthday party she requested another million dollars, also according to the newspaper; which adds that Shakira prohibited photos and videos.

Shakira visited Moscow accompanied by her fiance, Antonio de la Rúa, son of ex- Argentine president Fernando de la Rúa (1999-2001), and according to "Komsomolskaya Pravda" they almost didn't leave the hotel room.

The interpreter of "Hips don't lie" left the Russian capital with a promise of returning in the next months.

Shakira and Alejandro Sanz have always denied the rumors of a romantic relationship between them, and the speculations about Shakira and Alejandro being more than just friends are not new. Now the press is saying that “there are new indications that Alejandro and Shakira have lied about their relationship“.

According to Peru21.com, a source from the Pop Art magazine said that, in fact, there was something going on between them, although the informer made it very clear that Shakira never cheated on her fiance, Antonio de la Rúa.

According to the magazine, the short affair between Shakira and Alejandro Sanz occurred during the rumored (and never confirmed) break up of Shakira and Antonio. At that time, Shakira and Alejandro were working together again, on the making of the video “Te lo agradezco, pero no”.

As you can see in the video, there is a very good “chemistry” between them. Alejandro Sanz said about that:

“There is chemistry, nothing more. If people talk it’s because we managed to transmit that chemistry. Shakira is like a sister to me, a sister who I adore and admire”, he explained.

Everybody is talking about the 10 Worst Spanish Songs, published by a digital magazine.

Shakira was number 8, with the Spanish version of Hips Don’t Lie.

I agree with most of the songs on the list, but I think this is BS, BIG TIME.

The magazine claims to have 3 million visitors. Would you please check the site - it’s in Spanish, but it doesn’t matter - and tell me if you think it looks like a website that would have 3 million visitors?

Their blog - where they asked readers to vote “to complement the poll where hundreds of readers voted by email an IM” - is hosted in blogspot, has one of the ugliest default layouts, and 30 posts in 2 years. Few comments. In fact, I think they just grabbed the songs mentioned in the 24 comments of that entry, and listed the 10 they hated the most.

Besides, the article where they supposedly published the list is nowhere to be found. And believe me, I’ve tried. I don’t know why all the Spanish press is repeating this ridiculous “news”. It’s all over the place, in MSN Latino, Terra, Univisión.

A lot of blogs and websites are reporting the same news about Shakira:

All the news say the same BS:

Argentine newspapers are reporting that the hip-shaking singer asked her fiance of six years, Antonio de la Rua, to sign a prenuptial agreement before they marry in September.

A source was quoted as saying, “When you’re very much in love, you have plenty of people giving you advice, and none of them wants to see what happened to Paul McCartney happen to her.”

This one is from the New York Post, but there are many more repeating the same lies.

First of all, Shakira and Antonio have already signed a pre-nup, a few years ago. So, it makes no sense to ask Antonio to sign another pre-nuptial agreement.

Second of all, Antonio de la Rúa’s father, the Argentinian ex-president Fernando de la Rúa, has denied the rumors about Shakira and Antonio getting married in September.

And last but not least, the quoted “source” - supposedly the Argentine newspapers - has never been disclosed. Some of the reports say that the source is the Argentinian newspaper Clarín; but I haven’t found ANYTHING about this in Clarín.com - nor in any other source in Spanish.

So, all of this is BS, plain and simple. I don’t know where these people get this lies from; I guess they just come up with “news” they think will catch the reader’s attention. It’s ridiculous to publish this things, without checking the sources.

They are even saying that Shakira is pregnant, and the pregnancy would be pushing Shakira and Antonio to rush to get married. Oh, please. Give me a break.

I always check my sources, which are mostly in Spanish. You’ll be amazed to see how long it takes to the true news, published in Spanish, to get into the English news sources. And, as you can see here, how much of what is published in English, is BS.

As I say, you gotta love Shakira. She’s very nice, she’s in love, she has saved her sister in law from loosing her home, and some rumors even say she pays for Antonio’s bills. Well, I don’t know about that last one, but even if it’s true, Shakira ain’t stupid.

According to Colobian magazine Semana, Shakira and Antonio signed some papers a few years ago - a legal agreement that states that both “contributed to the conjugal society, or to the patrimonial society, whichever the case will be, a symbolic sum of $20,000.”

The agreement covers two possible scenarios: that they get married, or stay in as an unmarried couple (in domestic partnership). What it means, concretely, is that even if Shaki and Antonio get married, he ain’t going to be able to put his hands on Shakira’s money - except for those $20,000, of course. With the agreement, each one of them keeps their financial condition, and the wealth that “will be produced in the future”.

The magazine says that the papers were managed in Bogotá by a law firm, chosen by Shakira.

So, they didn’t break up - but Shakira is a practical woman.

I’ve read about the photo included in the press-release where Shakira’s spokesperson stated that Antonio and Shakira are still together.

I haven’t seen the photo anywhere; none of the articles I’ve read about the photo says “here’s the photo”. I’ve seen a couple of sites trying to pass photos from months ago, as the famous “we’re still together” photo.

I’ve read about Shakira and Antonio de la Rúa going out in New York, at the very popular Butter club, where they supposedly got together with Madonna, Penélope Cruz, Demi Moore, Ashton Kutchner and Janet Jackson.

I haven’t seen any photos of Shakira and Antonio at the club with none of the mentioned stars.

Where the heck are the damn photos, can you tell me??

Shakira and Antonio de la Rúa are still engaged, affirmed yesterday Shakira’s spokesperson, denying the rumors about the break up with her Argentine fiance.

In a brief press release which includes a photo of the couple, dated from a few days ago in in Los Angeles, California, they said:

“Shakira and Antonio de la Rúa take they relationship very serious and they are still engaged, as they have been since 2001″ and “any rumor that indicates the opposite it’s totally false and pure speculation”.

Shakira went clubbing twice with Penélope Cruz in Hollywood, and that was enough to produce rumors that Shakira and Antonio de la Rúa had ended their relationship.

Shakira’s PR person, Diana Baron, denied the break up and assured that the couple is fine.

“They are still together, very together. Just because two girls go out a couple of times, it doesn’t mean anything. Besides, they only went to see John Mayer’s concert and the other night they had dinner together”, she said.

This is not the first time there are rumors about Shakira and Antonio breaking up, as well as rumors about their so expected wedding. Several weeks ago, Shakira denied that she was going to get married in the Dominican Republic next September. The “Shakira to get married in September, 2007” news had been published in almost all newspapers of the world.

Among the gossips and rumors about the end of Shakira and Antonio de la Rúa’s relationship - they’ve been together for seven years - are those that abound in details and affirm that Shakira was spotted with the Irish actor Colin Farrell in a “joint in Los Angeles”.

There are also rumors that Antonio already has legal rights to part of Shakira’s fortune, and if the splitting turns out to be true, the Argentinean could receive a millionaire sum of money. This one is so stupid, I can’t believe anyone would take this rumor serious!

Another rumor, spread by the radio show America Showbiz (the same that announced Shakira’s wedding) speculates that the reason for Shakira and Penélope’s new friendship is not Shakira’s break up; they are saying the Colombian singer wants to present a more popular image, because shortly she will announce her Hollywood acting debut in a project with Penélope.

Hum. I don’t think Shakira and Antonio have broken up. And I don’t know if she would use this kind of rumor to launch her acting career - I think probably not. Anyway, time will tell. Stay tunned!

It seems like Shakira and Penélope Cruz are becoming close friends. The chicas go shopping and partying at the most fashionable places in Hollywood; the Colombian singer and the Spanish actress have become inseparable.

While the interpreter of “Ojos Así” enjoys her announced vacations, after the big success of the Oral Fixation album and tour, Almodóvar’s muse has become Shakira’s “parranda” (party) pal.

A week ago they went together to John Mayer’s concert after party, and finished the night at the Parc Club, one of the most exclusive clubs in Los Angeles, where celebrities like Paris Hilton and Britney Spears are often spotted. Last Friday (June 15) the girls went clubbing again.

This time, Shakira was looking really hot, wearing booty shorts and cowgirl boots. Penélope was fine, although her jeans were a bit too long.

The Argentinian newspaper Perfil is reporting that Shakira gave her sister-in-law, Agustina De La Rúa, money to pay an important debt, to keep the Argentinian ex-president’s daughter from loosing her apartment.

The information was provided in the radio show “America Showbiz”. The reasons why Agustina accumulated a millionaire debt during the last four years, which almost causes the loss of her home, weren’t disclosed.

Apparently, if it wasn’t for Shakira’s gesture - she gave Agustina the money to pay the debt and save her apartment - her sister-in-law would have got into big trouble. Can you imagine having a sister-in-law like that? I hope Agustina is not taking advantage of Shakira! Do you think Agustina would pay Shakira back?

The newspaper says that now Agustina and Shakira have become best friends. So, they weren’t so close before Shaki saved Agustina’s home?

Would you trust someone who becomes your best friend after you gave her a huge amount of money, in exchange of nothing? Suspicious, isn’t it?
